1. Get it!
Off we go! Often, I unfortunately don’t have the time to make great stuff or style my flat. I think it’s the same for most of you, too. But sometimes you just want to create something snazzy or need a little time out from work to relax with your hobby. Then the DIY project has to happen super fast and a result with an element of relaxation has to be on the table in a jiffy! What could be more fitting than great candle decorations? All you’ll need is decorative stones, glasses and tealights! Glasses and tealights can normally be found somewhere in the kitchen and you can order the decorative stones online from NOCH kreativ. And with that, you’ll already have everything you need!

2. Fill it!
Filling the glasses and thereby designing a pretty piece of decoration is as easy as pie! I thought about starting with the “Ballast” decorative stones in the fine grain size (which are almost as fine as sand), filling them into the glass up to approx. the width of two fingers and then pouring a coarser decorative stone on top. As a result, the coarser stones don’t fall into the spaces between the finer and more densely filled sand. This way, the individual layers remain separate. You can also do it the other way round or mix different grain sizes of decorative stones beforehand. Just give it a try. Some great effects can be achieved by doing handicrafts.

3. Light it!
Now place a tealight on the first two layers and fill the large decorative stones around the outside. The earth tones simply look fab! According to your taste, you can also use grey decorative stones, which really suit monochrome and Nordic room styles.
Your crafted results
I hope you’ve had fun killing time with this quick DIY idea! In any case, your home will be cosier now. You can order the little stones in grey and earth tones; they are available in various grain sizes. The candle glasses are not only cosy decoration for an autumn at home on the sofa; they can also be placed on a garden table in summer.
Have lots of fun decorating!
Best wishes,
Sebastian
