DIY Picture Frame from Cork Track Bed

Quick and easy to create a customised picture frame!

DIY picture collages or homemade photo albums are a great gift idea if you want to please your loved ones with a very personal gift. With the pictures, you can once again put the memories of shared moments in a beautiful light and create the desire for new adventures together. With our DIY picture frame, you can set the scene for a main picture and then decorate it all around with small trendy instant pictures.

You need that

  • Picture frame with border (here: 13 x 18 cm)
  •  NOCH Cork track bed (depending on the thickness of the frame) (here: 2.8 x 50 cm) 

  • Temporary Glue (Art.-No. 61121) 

  • NOCH Latex Adhesive (Art.-No. 61135) 

  • Drawing pins 

  • Carpet knife

  • Photos and instant photos of your choice 

  • Model figures of your choice

Measure the length of your picture frame and mark the area to be cut on the

Use the carpet knife to cut the cork track beds to the appropriate length. Make sure that you use a safe surface such as a cutting board.

You can then glue the picture frame to the cork track bedding with the NOCH latex adhesive. We recommend applying the glue on both sides and waiting for approx. 20 minutes. Then press the two parts firmly together.

In the meantime, we can glue the selected figures onto the rice nails. We have used NOCH temporary glue here, so that we can also exchange the figures. To do this, apply the glue to the rice nail. Let it dry briefly until the glue becomes transparent. Attach the model and remove it as often as you like.

Now you can attach the instant pictures anywhere on the picture frame with the tacks. Simply pierce the cork as you would a pinboard.
