1) Let's go!
You have many of the things you need for crafting at home, so you can also start crafting on the Christmas holidays: cut an empty toilet paper or kitchen roll in half with a cutter. Then glue the roll together very lightly with Washi Tape. Caution: Do not use Sellotape! It's too sturdy and won't "break". The pop candy only pops really well with Washi Tape!

2) Wrap it up nicely and fill it with confetti, New Year's wishes and mini pigs!
Wrapping paper is probably still lying in the corner somewhere from Christmas. Grab it now and wrap the cut roll in it. Close one side with a ribbon and fill it with confetti, a few lucky pigs, chimney sweep figures and a message for your loved ones. If you want to make the pop candy as a table decoration for your guests, you can write a personal New Year's message or New Year's wishes for each guest and stick it in the candy.

3) Now just poke the "predetermined breaking point" and the cracker is ready!
This is now the most important step: feel with your fingers for the "seam" where you have stuck the roll of Washi Tape back together. Along this seam, poke small holes through the wrapping paper and washi tape with a toothpick. When your guests bend the candy later, it will break apart at this point. Be sure to watch our video!
