Another plant?
Especially with plant lovers, gift ideas are always difficult. Sure, you give a plant as a gift, that's obvious, isn't it?
It could be that the person you're giving it to already has the plant or that it doesn't fit into the room concept, so you'd rather give a boring gift of money? We have a better idea!
A simple paper box is the basis for this DIY idea.
Inside, I set up a room with miniature furniture and plants. This way, the presentee knows immediately what the money is for - and if not, the lid is also labelled accordingly. The money can easily be slid into the lid.

You need that
- Small box
- Model figures furniture
- Model figures plants (e.g. pot plants, Mediterranean plants)
- Craft glue
- Cutter, scissors, magazine page
- Pens
- Banknotes

1. Cut the window in the box.
Cut a window in the lid of the box on the left and right with the cutter knife and stick a picture of trees or landscape behind it, for example from a magazine.

2. Paint the floor realistically.
Now the bottom of the box can be decorated as you like. I decided on classic black and white tiles and used a ruler to help me. Then the box can be assembled.

3. Install the model plants.
Now the most important part begins: The design of the model plants and model furniture. First the furniture and then the plants have to be glued into the box. Generous amounts of plants can be used here so that the room looks like a small urban jungle.

4. Design of the lid.
Once the room is finished, you can start designing the lid. For this, the banknotes have to be folded up according to the quantity and pushed under the lid. This way they are fixed, but you can see them well and take them out easily.

5. Create gift tags.
If you like, stick two or three mini plants on a gift tag and add a nice saying or dedication to it.
