At the 2018 Nuremberg Toy Fair 12 products have been nominated for the ToyAward. The slogan was: "Gold for Toys". The products were listed in four categories: Baby & Infant (0 to 3 years), PreSchool (3 to 6 years), SchoolKids (6 to 10 years) and Teenager & Adults (from 10 years). The judges evaluated the products according to the following criteria: gaming fun, originality, workmanship and quality as well as the understandability of the product concept and the expected success in the specialized trade.

Also the company NOCH GmbH & Co. KG was nominated for this award in the category Teenager & Adults for the new Model Railway Briefcase Layouts.
